PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

Welcome to the Association of State and Territorial Public Health Social Workers
website !  The ASTPHSW membership is comprised of a broad based group of social work professionals, who provide services which are epic focused with social work principles with a public health social work foundation.  The members are working on behalf of developing systems of preventive public health social work services in the  United States and Territories.   ASTPHSW in an affiliate of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, which includes the public health agencies, public health employees, schools of public health as well as federal health care employees.   

ASTPHSW is dedicated to the optimal social functioning of individuals and families through education, communication and advocacy.  Membership in  ASTPHSW  will provide you the opportunity to network, collaborate and parnter with public health leaders and social workers in other states and with federal agencies.
